A rust free 325i E30 Touring! It even has a perfect cloth sports interior!
I bought it abroad and without valid inspection, which caused some hurdles and will result in me actually getting it here almost two weeks from now. I'm still excited though!
Yes, there's an automatic in there. The only real downside to this car, but a car this pristine is very hard to find. It was part of a garaged and barely driven collection of mostly 80s BMWs. Two E30 Alpinas, an E30 Eta, an E30 325ix, an E30 convertible, an E28, an E24, a 2002 and even an E9 with fender mounted mirrors. All perfect, save for partly deflated tires. You can see some of the collection in the first picture.
A bit of work will need to be done though. The rear wiper fluid reservoir leaked and there's a rust spot on the bottom of the exhaust due to the car sitting for a while. While it drove OK it didn't run perfectly due to the old rubbery gas remnants. I hope some new gas and filters will solve this as well. Oh, and the cruise control doesn't work.
It even comes with a removable tray in the back to protect the carpets.

What shipping carrier did you use? And from/to where do you ship it?

Excellent choice! Where 'abroad' did you get it?

I won't need to ship it, it's in Germany and I'm in the Netherlands. It's only about 70 minutes from my home. But I want to do things legally with valid plates on both sides of the border, which takes a bit of time. Especially due to the lack of a valid inspection. But it can be done.

Ah, ze Germans. Have fun with it (I'm sure you will). If you ever need a very, very good E30 specialist and are willing to travel to Noord-Brabant check-out autocenter Boomstraat in Tilburg. The owner himself owns many E30's (including one pristine M3), also a good source for parts or knowledge.

Nice, but living that close from the ring, you should have gotten a manual :)
Drove from Amsterdam to Köln then to the ring last summer. Netherland is beautiful, but the speed limits on the freeway, considering how good your roads are, is VERY frustrating hahaha

For a while, yes. I plan on turning my hobby (gawking at jalopies) into a part time job though, and I hope this car will turn out to be an excellent pilot.

That's excellent news, congratulations! Also, if you don't plan to hoon it - and it's such a pristine example, why would you - don't worry much about the auto.
